The hotel is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful to all your needs. The breakfast girls i met Elizabeth and keni where the sweetest most wonderful woman. Even brought my mom in some drinking glasses they where talking about and gave them to her. The rooms are clean and bed comfortable. I would definitely go back there.

Pros: Convenient free parking, updated, comfortable bed, hot coffee, some of the staff were friendly & helpful, good restaurants nearby. Cons: Refrigerator in first room didn't work, so we were given a different room, no big deal. Noisy party woke us in the middle of the night, these things happen, no big deal but annoying. Breakfast not fit for human consumption (cold mushy oatmeal, cold/hard egg white omlette, cold/hard sausage links that appeared to be reheated leftovers, black bananas); Our room was cleaned only one of the days, even though we talked to 2 staff members on 3 separate occasions. Neither one apologized or fixed the problem-at one point, we were told there was no housekeeping on Mondays & Tuesdays... At another point, we were told its because of their "new system." We wonder if this hotel actually has housekeeping at all. At checkout, we were finally heard by the third staff member who apologized & discounted our bill. Potential customers should know the location is convenient, but a bit strange with XXX movie theaters and Chuck E Cheese right across from one another.

Pros: friendly staff; relatively modern; free breakfast; and good location. Cons: not very clean. This is the seventh hotel that I have stayed in since the start of the pandemic and I’ve noticed that none of them are not as clean as they used to be. I realize that hotels don’t have the staff that they used to have and it’s hard to find good people these days - BUT, cleanliness is a priority for me. When we arrived in our room, we found a used towel on the floor by the window that had not been picked up (makes me wonder if the housekeeping staff even vacuumed over there because they obviously did not see the towel); there was a lot of dust in the room; and an accumulation of hair in the bathroom under the sink. I was also surprised to find that the corridor smelled like marijuana. This is a non-smoking hotel, but somebody was obviously smoking in their room. The smell permeated the hallway near my room.

I’m not a neat freak, but it was a still a bummer to find so much hair on the bathroom floor. I mean, dozens of strands of long black hair. There just wasn’t any attempt to clean it, which makes me think the room carpet is probably pretty gnarly. I live with someone who has long hair and I know it’s a bear to clean, so I don’t think twice about a stray strand here and there. But, man, it was like someone opened a salon and forgot to sweep at the end of the day. Otherwise, typical Hampton. The front desk staffer was friendly. The location was fine for me. Wi-fi worked fine. Fitness center was decent sized, though I would’ve wished for some mats to use for stretching/yoga. Pool seemed nice. Despite all of that, the cleanliness issue just loomed large. This was the most expensive stay of my trip and so I expected it to be a bit more clean.

We loved this hotel! Only about a 15 minute drive to The Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, which is the main reason we were staying there. I then realized we were only 15 minutes away from the Wild Animal Park in Chittenango New York, so this was a fantastic location. Our suite was huge, and very clean. The staff was super friendly. And we walked to Tully‘s sports bar to pick up dinner which was great. Like others have mentioned the hotel is not visible from the road, but they have a huge billboard telling you where the turn is. We accidentally turned just a little bit too quickly into the Chuck E. Cheese parking lot, but it was no problem just to take a right out of there into the hotel entrance. Just look for the billboard.
